This blue pro touring machine is not only a looker, she’s a house hold name in the hot rod world. She has been a finalist in the Goodguys Muscle Machine class and was featured on the cover of several magazines including the December 2013 issue of Popular Hot Rodding, where she was also a Muscle Car of the Year finalist. Bidding ended, but we don’t know if it sold to one of the three bids received.
In her engine bay sits a 427 cubic inch LS7 engine. This beast was tuned by Mast Motorsports for 653 hp and 564 lb-ft of torque that’s guaranteed to push you back into your seat. The LS7 is tied to Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with a custom Denny’s Drive Shaft and American Powertrain clutch to move the gears. Spinning the rear wheels is a 9-inch rear end with 3.89 gears and an Eaton Truetrac differential.
A custom fabricated DSE suspension helps her navigate through the corners. A Chevy II front clip with DSE remote RES Coilovers is up front and while a DSE Quadalink custom bracing is in the rear. Grinding the Nova to a halt are 14 inch Baer brakes in the front and the rear, while the Nova sits on Fiske formula 43 wheels which are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport.
Inside sits a roll caged interior with two buckets up front and a bench in the rear. Does being a Goodguys Finalist and being on the cover of a magazine justify a six-figure price tag? How much would you being will to pay for a car that looks this great?
