With Christmas around the corner, we’ve got just the thing to aid in your quest for the perfect holiday gift to give the car-guru in your life. Last June, our hunt for awesome, gearhead-inspired stuff turned up some pretty rad engine rings. And whether it’s adorning your desktop or striking conversation at car shows, these rings are guaranteed to put a smile on any gearhead’s face.
But don’t think for a second, however, that these are just tacky, thrown together paperweights. Bob the Ring Guy and his team over at V8 Rings (formerly called Cruizin’ World) have mastered the art of creating beautiful, miniature renditions of legendary small- and big-block engines.
Bob takes a lot of pride in his work, and he has every right to. It’s not hard to see how much time and effort was spent getting every aspect of each, individual engine just right. The incredible amount of detail and accuracy is definitely something special, so the $300-$400 average price is fitting.
However, with the holiday season on the horizon, us gearheads are in luck. Last time we spoke with him, Bob let us know about his pre-Christmas sale. The sale knocks 15% off a select four rings, and lasts only through the end of this October.
With the month almost half over and the season of giving nearly upon us, be sure to head over to the V8 Rings’ website to check out the four rings on sale.
Along with the sale, V8 Rings has also recently added some fresh new ring styles to their collection. These include a new Mopar 440 Wedge, a few different 289/302 Ford variations (by popular demand), and V8 logo rings and pendants. Bob also mentioned that we might have an assortment of earrings that we can look forward to.
As for what else is in store for the future – it really depends on you, the buyer. It’s already been well established that Bob’s a straight-to-the-point kind of guy. Therefore, if there’s something that you’d like to see him put together, you’re encouraged to get a hold of him and let him know what you’re looking for.
