What kind of housewarming party did you throw last year? If you’re a car guy, you might have invited a few friends and asked them to bring their cars. Most people invite their friends and neighbors, that’s normal. But if you’re Mick Brasher from Australia, you also had a helicopter pilot so you could get some awesome video of your friends Christening your burnout pad.
Mick invited his friends and neighbors and asked seven friends to help paint some thick, black rubber stripes on his burnout pad. What started out as a white concrete pad quickly became a blacktop as his friends let loose and had fun marking up the pad. The helicopter overhead that Mick brought in took some amazing video of what it looks like from the air.
At a couple places in the video that we found on YouTube, you can see all seven cars lined up and smoking out the neighborhood. Many of the cars were blown, some injected, some with multiple carbs, but seeing these little cars with big motors do pirouettes on the burnout pad sure made for some entertaining fun. Unfortunately, those on the ground seemed to have zero visibility because of the huge white cloud after a few runs.
Dubbed the Brasher Nats, the view from above made for a housewarming party that won’t soon be forgotten. So how would you like to have this kind of housewarming party at your house? Bring a couple extra sets of tires to smoke on the pad, because if you don’t bring extra tires it’s pretty certain you’re not going to make it home with this much rubber being laid down. Look for the chunks of rubber flying a couple minutes into the video!
