The Dirty Dozen was an awesome movie, but more than that, this past episode of the RodCAST marked its own dirty dozen episodes. In the twelfth edition of the RodCAST, hosts Vinny Costa and Greg Acosta recapped the last 11 episodes and went on some fun detours along the way.
In discussing project car updates, it was learned that the reason rodents seem to love to eat car’s wiring, is that the OEM’s switched to a soy-based wire coating, which is attractive to them. We also learned that it appears the perpetrator of this particular unwanted electrical work met karmic justice.
The pair also discussed some of the issues being encountered with the new C8 Corvettes, as well as the audience reaction to an article posted with Richard Holdener, coinciding with his interview on the show.
From there, an in-depth discussion of the history and genesis of Project Snake Eyes took place, with some insider info and images about the car’s current state along with its future plans. That led to a discussion on how technology has allowed enthusiasts to have much more capable “all-around” performers, instead of being forced to make compromises in one area over another.
This week’s episode of the RodCAST Live! was a fun hour covering a lot of topics, so make sure to give it a listen.
