Someone in Raleigh, North Carolina must really like their movies like Death Race or Mad Max. They would have to, to take a ’47 Studebaker and turn it into this…. unique… Yeah, unique ride. The, lets go with what the Craigslist ad calls it, “Ratrod” creation can be yours for a bargain at $10,000 or a Ford Van (no really). However, before you start bashing the builder or car, it actually has the potential to be a lot of fun to drive.
The Studebaker features a 360ci Dodge engine, automatic transmission, upgraded disc brakes, custom headers, Harley mufflers, suicide doors, and yes a chain steering wheel. At the top of the block you will also notice it has an Edelbrock carb and performer intake and is equipped with power steering. Not to mention that spikes, skulls and chains are evident throughout the entire car.

To the right buyer, all of that might be pretty impressive, but our favorite pieces on the Studebaker have to be the Ford tailgate that has been crossed out by what appears to be painters tape, the yellow knock-off wire wheels and best of all the Pabst blue ribbon can that looks as if it acts as the shifter boot. Regardless how you feel about the build, you have to admit it takes a lot of nerves to roll up your sleeves and turn an old Studebaker into this Frankenstein.
Now we leave it up to you, do you find this a bargain at $10k or should we kill it with fire? Leave us your opinion below!
