This Futuristic Cadillac Would Look Right At Home On Dealership Lots

While Cadillac has experienced something of a design renaissance in the past decade, lately we’ve found ourselves questioning some of the design decisions. Sure, the Cadillac ATS has plenty to recommend it, and the CTS remains a solid contender among mid-size luxury cars. But the new, larger Cadillac XTS only comes in front or all-wheel drive, and the styling is just sorta…meh.

But this design, penned by IED Turin graduate Samir Sadikhov and found by Carscoop, is the new direction we think Cadillac needs to pursue.

A mixture of bold lines, and aggressive front end, and shooting brake styling, the Cadillac “C-Ville” as Sadikhov calls his creation is a Cadillac for the 21st century mob boss. The design isn’t overtly radical, and we could see this has being something of an evolution from the current “Art and Science” styling that has helped bring Cadillac back from the brink.

While just a concept, we think there is some real potential in this design to become a next-generation full-size flagship for Cadillac. Imagine this car with a large V8, perhaps with a pair of turbochargers for motivation, cruising past in some near-future version of New York. Ya, we can totally dig it, and hopefully someone for Cadillac is digging it too.
