General Motors has provided the world with reliable and powerful automobiles. Our friends over at RK Motors Charlotte have a unique pickup truck for sale: a 1991 GMC Syclone.
Surprisingly, this Syclone only has 1,889 miles on the odometer. With such low mileage, this Syclone is essentially a new car.
A high-performance version of the GMC Sonoma, the Syclone is factory-tuned and ready to pounce with its turbocharged 4.3L V6 engine, factory BorgWarner all-wheel drive system, and a tuned sport suspension. With only 2,995 Cyclones produced and only one year in production, this are just a few reasons why this truck is so unique and rare.
The Syclone is in immaculate shape, its body dent free and its paint as wet as when it came off the assembly line. However, it is the engine that truly makes this truck stand out.
The LB4 4300 by GM that sits under the hood of this Syclone was treated with several spirited upgrades chosen specifically by GM that come stock. These factory upgrades include a more open and free-flowing intake and exhaust manifolds, better pistons, a Mitsubishi TD06-17C turbocharger, a Garrett water/air intercooler and a 48mm twin-bore throttle body.
With all of these additional parts, the Syclone pushes a phenomenal 280 horsepower and 350 lb./ft. of torque. A 700R4 automatic transmission helps put power down to the pavement, making the Syclone a truck anyone can drive.
The Syclone’s low mileage should tell anyone interested that this was indeed the epitome of a Sunday driver. Meticulously maintained and immaculate inside and out, this GMC Syclone is a high-performance truck that shouldn’t be slept on.
Does the Syclone’s price tag of $39,900 sound like a good deal? Feel free to share your thoughts below. Also, don’t forget to check out RK Motors website to view the rest of their current inventory for sale.
