There is an old proverb that says “all people are inherently stupid.” That proverb can be seen in actions of the owner of this Dodge Charger. What was suppose to be a fine relaxing day at the beach near Ocean Park, Washington, turned into an expensive water damage and a hefty towing bill.
The owner of this Dodge Charger came to beach with no clue on how tides work. He parked his car and left to hit the shops and arcades. The tides eventually rolled in and the Mopar sedan was stuck in the surf. The Police couldn’t find the owner and needed to remove the car before it voyaged out to sea. They called Hill Auto Body and Towing to solve this snafu.
As Hill Auto Body and Towing were about to get to work, the owner showed up after noticing the commotion and the crowd. He unlocked the car to give Hill towing access to the steering to unlock the wheels. During the first pull, the stubborn Charger refused to budge. After a few adjustments Hill Towing was able to pull the Mopar out of the surf in front of a crowd of on lookers.
Hopefully this will be a lesson to the owner of the Charger to not leave your car on the beach unattended, especially that close to the water. It makes us wonder what kind of logic goes through a person’s head sometimes. Do any of you have an embarrassing or funny tow story? If so leave it in the comments below.
