From time to time, we see modes of transportation for kids that makes all of us adult gearheads jealous as hell. Our first thoughts are: How come my dad wasn’t cool enough to build me a Pro-Street stroller? or How come my dad never lowered my wagon and put pizza cutters up front and slicks out back? We see these modes of transporting kids all the time, and we already know that’s what we’re doing for our first kid!

Then when the kid is old enough to get himself around, the stroller and the wagon are gearhead hand-me-downs for the next in line, and that leaves dad to do things like hop up the Power Wheels and teach the kid to drift. When the power is low, you bump it up a little – it’s easy to do, even kids can show you how. If the kid is lucky, dad will turn his kiddie car into something that will make the other kids envious.

Once the Power Wheels stage is gone, the only thing left to do is to fabricate Juniors next ride and make it look like a scaled down cruiser to hit the parking lots with. Sometimes these rides are so cool that even the big guys want to get in on it, but if it’s done just right – like this Chevrolet C10 from Chaotic Customs – then there’s no room for dad.

However, with the full bench seat in the cab, Junior is ready for his first third grade sock hop date. It looks pretty close to the real thing on the left. Okay, sort of, but if you’re a kid are you going to complain? We didn’t think so.

We caught this cool pickup in the video below on the Chaotic Customs YouTube channel, and man does that kid look like he’s have a great time.  The walk around in the video above gave us a closer look at just how cool this cruiser is.
