When we first watched the video above, it looked like a typical drive down a rural street in a small town here in America. Then we started seeing oddly shaped license plates and traffic signs that are unlike any we’ve seen here in the states. So you look a little closer, and you realize that all of these classic American cars are somewhere overseas.
When the video starts, we catch a glimpse of an early Eldorado convertible, followed by a wicked ‘Vette that sounds like it’s got a bit of boost under the hood. Keep watching, and you’ll find a badass El Camino wearing a set of steamrollers in the back, and an old Valiant cruising by.
Sure, this is the typical scene that we might come across at a local cruise night, but this cruise-fest is taking place in Finland, and one of our regular readers, Fileeraus, has alerted us to another video he’s posted to his YouTube channel. This is the same channel that brought us that wicked, Pixar-looking truck with about a thousand ponies, and who can forget that wild Hemi-powered Volvo?
A few more drive-bys and the shenanigans begin and we start to see some smoke from the wheel wells. Eventually all hell breaks loose in musclecar glory, as cars start getting sideways and making return trips around the block to show off for the camera. Even a diesel-powered Mercedes gets in on the action, mixing black and white smoke to the scene.
And don’t forget to check out the scene at 1:23 into the video when a Mustang driver makes a turn. Even the kids in Finland know to run from the car, as one brave soul strolls along. You can’t make this stuff up. Sorry Mustang owners, it just kind of writes itself into a potential funny meme about Mustangs lately, thanks to a few who don’t know how to drive.
