ScottieD has been bringing his YouTube audience some of the best and brightest cars for years now, but don’t let that fool you into thinking he’s grown tired of seeing what the world has to offer. Today’s video shows him doing a walkaround of a killer 1957 Bel Air convertible from Pro Auto Customs out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
The owner is present too, and he’s in as much awe as Scottie of the incredible work done by PAC’s owner Steve Holcomb and his crew. The car’s owner, an Atlanta man, had the car sent in to Pro Auto Customs for a total makeover of the interior and top.
“Man, it don’t even look like the same car!” exclaims the owner. One can only imagine what the Bel Air’s state was in prior to the overhaul, but it’s obvious from the owner’s reaction and speech that he’s satisfied with the results. Scottie reassures him: “You’re looking at it like it’s a show car you can’t even touch. No, that’s yours, brother!”
As the owner sits down in the driver’s seat, Holcomb takes the opportunity to talk through all the extensive modifications and features the car has received. It appears that all of the faulty functions of the car have been restored with electric power, including the trunk release, windows, roof switch, air conditioner, stereo surround system, and more.
Under the hood, a badass LS3 motor, bedecked in white valve covers and chrome intake manifold, sits awaiting a turn of the key for instant thrills. The owner remarks that when he leaves, he will be taking the car to MTI Tuning for some much-needed adjustments to its drivetrain and brakes. We’re all for seeing this Tri-Five reach its peak, and wish it and its owner well on the road ahead.
