We read a lot of automotive press releases, but we recently came across one over at Autoblog that would make us shout, “Stop the presses” if we thought anyone would listen. The press release, which was put out by the Vilner Design Studios in Bulgaria, states that Vilner himself has taken on a second project for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, only it’s no ordinary Jeep; it’s the 600 HP Hennessey version.
Vilner’s studio took specific attention to the area of the interior, and we’re betting it’s just about the coolest interior ever to find it’s way into a Jeep, and it’s a far cry from the spartan interiors of the original World War II era “General Purpose” machines!
Inside Vilner held no punches in creativity and material selection. They combined red and black Alcantara with black leather, all of which was trimmed with what they called “ornamental” red seams.
The seats, headliner, floor mats, and even the e-brake handle were all touched. The steering wheel is dressed in the same materials as the rest of the car, but it’s a special unit designed to provide comfort and grip to the driver.
Other Vilner projects are available on their Facebook page as well.
