We were surprised to learn recently that the folks at Flex-a-lite can actually tell if a customer uses a fan spacer from another manufacturer?
Even though most car builders consider a fan spacer a commodity product–as long as you find one the correct length the brand doesn’t matter–it turns out that Flex-a-lite have added several design features into their spacers to improve the performance and durability of the fan. In fact, Flex-a-lite won’t warranty their excellent radiator fans if they discover it was used with a spacer made by another manufacturer.
