Check out this 3,000 horsepower monster Steve Morris Engines built and put up on their dyno.
This bad boy will be going into a sand drag machine. It’s a 615 cubic inch big block Chevy with a 136 Procharger hanging off the front. We love the low profile setup utilizing one of the shop’s own billet intakes. Since this engine is burning methanol there’s no intercooler necessary, and a Holley EFI controller handles the engine management.
On the dyno the Procharger pumped out 40 pounds of boost, helping the big V8 crank out 3,000 horsepower at 8,200 rpm and 2006 lb/ft of torque at 7,000 rpm.
