This weekend, May 4-5, Vicari Auctions holds it’s 6th annual Cruisin’ Nocona Collector Car Auction in Texas. The event starts today with a classic car cruise through the north Texas countryside.
Nocona, recognized as the “classic car capital” of Texas and voted one of America’s most fun small towns, has undergone an architectural revitalization in its downtown business district. The revitalization includes new repurposed buildings, several of which hold Wildcat Pete Horton’s vast 120-car collection/museum.
Following the cruise will be a “Parade of Classic Cars” at 3 p.m. with Vicari’s Classic & Muscle Car Auction on Friday and Saturday. The auction house anticipates 400 classic and muscle cars will cross the block, among them are 27 vehicles from Horton’s Classic Car Museum.
