In a few weeks, Las Vegas, NV will be filled with automotive creations and fanatics from all over the world. One of the new brands being debuted at the 2014 SEMA show, will be Revorix, based out of Anaheim, California; yet the idea originally sparked from Japan, thanks to the CEOs of IROC Co. and Rowen.

Revorix will be using Defenderworx (most known for their work on the GM cars in the Transformers movies)  as a US distributor, and can be seen in booth #21252 at this year’s SEMA show, November 4, 2014.

According to a Revorix press release, they are taking a different approach to the typical “tuner market” in that they believe the power plant of the new Corvette is a great platform in its stock configuration. Hence, they will be focusing on the: aerodynamics, rigidity, and weight of the Stingray, which will also add a high-performance level of styling to the car in addition to the mechanics.

While this certainly is a different route from focusing primarily on the engine of the Corvette, CorvetteOnline thinks that they have a definite place in the market. There are many people who are satisfied with the factory performance of the LT1 motor and/or would like to maintain a mostly stock configuration due to engine warranty concerns. Secondly, there are those who could use more improvements with handling and “road race characteristics” for autocross or club racing. The improvements Revorix is producing, will allow owners to improve their Stingrays in a different way.

We really like what we have seen thus far, and can’t wait to see what they unveil at SEMA, should be pretty exciting to see one of the Revorix creations in person!
