Are you ready to “Go Fast With Class?” So are we! We recently found this pristine ’70 Buick GSX on eBay, and while it’s not cheap transportation it’s hard to argue that it’s not worth what the seller is asking. The GSX was the top of the line for Buick performance in 1970 and was only available in two color options; Apollo White or Saturn Yellow. Out of the 678 GSX’s produced in 1970 only 187 wore the white, so this already rare beast is a littler rarer as such.
In 1970 Buicks really were positioned as the car between Olds and Cadillac, so some of the window tint, sound deadener, and luxury features are ones that would really only make their way here as opposed it’s sister Chevelle or GTO.
Luckily, there’s plenty of punch under the hood to make up for the weight of the extra luxo options with a 360HP 455. Not impressed by a mere 360HP? Well, when combined with the fact that this sucker makes 510 foot-pounds of torque we think you’ll see why Buick’s today still dominate in drag racing series like FAST (Factory Appearing Stock Tire).
This Buick is listed by RK Motors in Charlotte, NC. They’re known worldwide for their concours restorations and elite inventory. They also share a financial investor with Michael Waltrip Racing, so you NASCAR fans may have seen their logo on the side of the NAPA car during a few races this year already!
