My favorite 60’s Mustangs was the 1967 and 1968 fastback flavors. I once owned a 1968 Mustang but had to settle for a coupe version when the fastback proved too hard to find. If you are partial to the 68 fastback, a very nice one is on eBay right now. The car is highly modified though, I am not feeling the front end at all on this car to be honest. It lacks the bumper that the cars came with and has a few other changes too.
What you can clearly see is the big Procharger intercooler sitting in the lower opening of that grill. This Procharger is pushing out 14psi of boost through a 434 Keith Craft Racing engine. The blown Stang puts down 780hp according to the listing and that should be enough for eye opening ride since the car is street legal. The transmission is a 6-speed Tremec manual, which is surprising given that generally when I see modded cars like this they are running automatic transmissions.
Rounding out the tech specs of the car is a Concept One Pulley system, Mass Flow fuel injection, TCP Power Rack and Steering, a Flaming River polished tilt column, and the inside has custom gages, AC, and Scat Elite Power 1000 seats. The list of mods this car has runs on for pages. It appears that the builder spared no expense on this ride. I am not a fan of the wheels chosen, but the car looks very well put together. The car is in Carrollton, Texas and right now the bid is up to $54,100 with about three hours to go and still hasn’t hit reserve.
