We found this video of the DeLorean from Back to the Future III over at Fireball Tim’s Hollywood Garage, and while we’re the first to admit that we’re not totally sure who he is, we do know he knows his Hollywood rides! This particular video is a feature on the DeLorean from Back to the Future III.

The car itself is now privately owned by a fan of the movie and is in a storage location that keeps thugs like Biff Tannen and his gang from getting at it. The owner has even installed sound effects that play the correct tones with the time circuits are turned on, and we dig it!

If you’re curious, this particular version of the DeLorean looks as goofy as it does for a specific reason. In the movie storyline, towards the end of BTTFII the car is struck by lightening and sent back in time.

It is recovered by the 1955 rendition of Doc Brown who puts “new” 1955 tires on it to replace the melted Goodyear GT’s, and also creates a replacement for a crucial microchip out of vacuum tubes and a wooden box (which is the thing on the hood).

Personally, our favorite BTTF DeLorean is the one from the first movie, so hopefully Fireball Tim will have a feature on it sometime soon!
