An absolute beauty, this stunning custom roadster will be sure to get swooped up in an instant. Spotted on Hot Rod Dirtys, check out the timeless looks of this 1933 Plymouth Roadster.
Sticking to its roots, this Plymouth is a traditional hot rod that can’t be missed. Custom from front to back, the exterior features a chopped windshield, a shaved and bobbed body, a fabricated deck lid with rounded corners, and suicide doors with bear claw door latches.
Adding onto the slew of fabrications, the custom roadster has a fabricated tail pan with ’58 Chevy taillight housings and ’56 lenses. The front is set up with a Kustom Steel grille to go with ’58 Edsel headlights and bezels.
Splashed with white and clear coat, the hint of red pearl makes the roadster so appealing to look at. The mill up front is a steel crank 440 cubic-inch V8 mill, mated to a 727 automatic tranny. The drivetrain actually originates from a 36,000 mile Chrysler Imperial.
The Firestone wide whitewall tires give a vintage look to the roadster, which are accompanied by new chrome Reverse Wheels with spider caps. A front disc, rear drum brake package provides plenty of stopping power for the gorgeous custom.
As beautiful as the outside is, it’s interior grabs just as much attention. A fully custom interior, the material is actually a high grade boat vinyl that is highly resistant to water. The panels behind the rear wheels, front frame horns and headlights are also removable.
Shifting is handled by a Lokar shifter, with steering controlled by a Mooneyes steering wheel. The gauge cluster came off a 1951 Ford, which was rebuilt. The classy interior also hides a splash proof fuel cell and upholstered trunk.
