With three fantastic, raffle prize cars announced and the countdown to the December deadline under way, the 2016 Central Valley Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC) collector-car drawing is now in full-swing.
For the past 32 years, RMHC of Central Valley has been hosting an annual car giveaway to benefit families in need. The raffle is their biggest event, allowing us gearheads to try to win the car of our dreams while simultaneously having a positive impact on other people’s lives.
In last year’s drawing, two killer red ‘Vettes were offered as prizes – a 2015 Z06 and a ’67 427-equipped Stingray. While it’s hard to beat a pair like that, RHMC’s prize gets even more desirable every year; this year, they’ve one-upped themselves by offering not only another pair of magnetizing Corvettes, but also a reproduction MKIII Shelby Cobra from Superformance.
But of course, we all know the real incentives here are the Corvettes. The first of the two that they have up for grabs is a 2016 drop-top Z06. All Z06s are absolutely stunning, no doubt, but there’s definitely a reason that the Laguna Blue this car wears has been one of the most popular colors on the C7. Here at Corvette Online, it’s probably our favorite.
From the crisp paint, tasteful carbon fiber trim, and contrasting red brake calipers peeking from behind the aggressive Z06 wheels – this ‘Vette oozes sex appeal. And with not a pony less than 650 supercharged horsepower, it has the performance to back up its high-caliber looks.
So if you needed any other inspiration to help the RMHC of Central Valley spread well-being, how about $20K in addition to the car? Yup, you read that right, the Z06 and $20 smackers to pay help pay the taxes. Be sure to check out the Central Valley RMHC website for more info on how to enter.
