This 1952 Willys delivery sedan has been upgraded from the old small-block engine to a newer engine out of a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 blazer. An engine not often used for a transplant, this throttle-body injected six-cylinder provides plenty of power to keep the car on the road, but it also gives the advantage of good fuel economy.

Bill and Sally Hubbell of Port Orchard, Washington, have had this Willys for 15 years, but it’s only been completed and on the road for the last three. They are also the proud owners of this 1962 Ford F100 that we took a look at a few months back. The Hubbell’s definitely have good taste in what they drive.

The restoration on this Willys took five years to complete, but was well worth the time and effort. “I really like the paint and the fact that its throttle-body injected,” Bill told us. “And that I did everything myself.”

The other interesting thing about this delivery sedan is that it has back windows. Characteristically, a delivery sedan type vehicle has solid panels in the back, and at one time, this one did too. The rear windows were added by a previous owner, to what some might say are the benefit of the vehicle. Bill however, disagrees. “I do plan on removing the rear windows so that it’ll be an actual delivery sedan again,” Bill explained.
