New from Concept One – alternators designed to handle increased draw. The CS130D and AD244 can now provide reliable current to multiple electronic devices on your ride. See more details below.
Official Release:
Concept One Pulley Systems has added new upgraded alternator options for their LS pulley systems. The standard alternator on all kits used to be a Powermaster CS130 105 amp alternator. With the popularity of electrical components being installed, Concept One saw the need for a higher amp alternator that could handle the pull from multiple electrical systems. They are now offering the CS130D for moderately equipped electronics, which has 120 amps and can be upgraded to 165 amps. And for those running several electronics, they are offering the AD244, which comes in a 180 amp and a 220 amp version. To determine the correct size alternator for your vehicle, the Concept One website features a “How to Choose Your Alternator” guide that lists the amp draw for common auto accessories so you can choose the correct sized alternator to work with your components.
