How would you like to win a free trip to Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show? Better yet, how would you like to have your vehicle put on display with the many incredible cars at SEMA? Thanks to the SEMA Award Contender Contest, the dream of many car enthusiasts could become reality for you. By just submitting a simple video of your current generation SEMA contender vehicle, you and your car could be packing your bags in a month to head to Vegas for the national trade show.
Each year, SEMA plays host to vehicles that set trends in the automotive specialty equipment industry for the following year. This year, 39 contender vehicles have been selected for the award in four different categories: Hottest Car, Hottest Truck, Hottest 4X4-SUV and Hottest Sport Compact. The SEMA Award is then given to the top model in each category that is featured at the show.
For a chance to have your car featured at SEMA and have your vehicle’s make and model be eligible for the SEMA Award, you must submit a 60 to 90-second video of your SEMA contender vehicle that highlights the modifications that have been done to it. At least three different branded modification components must be highlighted in your vehicle walk around on the video. Once your video is uploaded to YouTube and you’ve completed the required form, your video will be judged by industry experts on how many views and fans it gets, as well as the modifications you highlight and expert opinions on your vehicle.
If your vehicle is chosen, it will get a feature spot on the SEMA Show floor. As the owner of the vehicle, you will receive credentials for you and a guest to attend SEMA, a two-night accommodation in Las Vegas and a $50 gas card.
This may just be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to not only go to the closed, trade-only show, but to also have your car featured on the SEMA Show floor. Video submissions are only being taken through October 2nd, so don’t wait to get your video in.
