Good news Camaro fans! Specialty Vehicle Engineerings’ thousand-horsepower 2018 Yenko SC Stage II Camaro is now available. Production is limited to 25 cars, each powered by a supercharged 416 cubic-inch LT-1 based engine.
To produce the staggering output, the engine utilizes an aluminum block with forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported LT-4 cylinder heads, and an upgraded fuel system and injectors. It’s topped with a high-output custom supercharger and made complete with a performance tune.
Further, the engine exhales through custom stainless steel long tube headers with high-flow cats and exhaust system.
Other highlights include a heavy-duty cooling system with engine oil cooler, dual outboard radiators, a transmission cooler and a rear differential cooler.
Many of the performance features from the SS 1LE are used on the Stage II Yenko, such as the Magnetic Ride Control, the Electronic Limited-Slip Differential, the Performance-Tuned suspension with unique bushings, and the springs and stabilizer bars.
Upgrades unique to the Yenko SC Stage II include Brembo brakes with 6-piston front calipers on 14.5-inch rotors and 4-piston rear calipers on 13.3-inch rotors.
Exterior styling includes Yenko badging along with its functional 1LE front splitter and rear spoiler to increase downforce and keep the car firmly planted at speed. Other unique features include a hood stripe and side stripes unique to the Yenko Stage II car. Color options include gloss black, flat black, white, yellow, hugger orange, red, or silver. Additionally, the carbon fiber hood with nonfunctional scoop comes painted to match the body.
The car comes with a 3 year/36,000 mile engine and supercharger assembly limited warranty as well as a 3 year/36,000 mile non-powertrain component limited warranty.
