Another year has passed, and it’s time again for the biggest and best automotive aftermarket show in the world. SEMA is the largest automotive specialty products trade event in the world. This year’s show takes place on November is 1st– 4th, 2011 at The Las Vegas Convention Ctr., Las Vegas, NV. Basically, it covers everything to do with automotive, truck and SUV, power sports, and RV markets. It attracts more than 100,000 industry leaders from more than 100 countries, to introduce their new products, and the latest innovations in the upcoming year.
The SEMA show is not open to the general public, it caters to buyers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and anyone doing business in the automotive industry. Big names like Edelbrock, Moroso, Competition Cams, Holley carburetors, and thousands of others will be there displaying their new products and services to all that attend.
Many of the major automotive warehouses will be there to offer their services and products to anyone interested in becoming a jobber or retailer of aftermarket parts and accessories.
Whether you’re a professional engine builder by trade, sell and install custom stereos, or build Street Rods, there is something there for all of you. Many of the largest automakers; Ford, GM, and Chrysler, just to name a few will have booths at SEMA, displaying their prototypes, and concept cars to get feedback, and generate public relations.
Oh, and there's a bunch of car stuff there too.
The show is considered the Super Bowl of trade shows for the aftermarket automotive industry. The manufacturers and companies for parts like, camshafts, wheels and tires, aftermarket exhaust systems, and lighting, are just a very small percentage of things you will see there.
The automotive aftermarket industry covers a wide spectrum of products and services, and the SEMA show is the place to see it.
