During the 1980’s, vehicle owners found it harder and harder to find original vehicle sheet metal and trim for classic cars and trucks. Much of the sheet metal on the market was coming solely from the crash parts industry. Some car collectors decided that if the hobby was going to continue and grow, quality sheetmetal and trim was needed.
Goodmark was founded in 1991 to offer the best quality sheet metal and trim available. Since the goal of Goodmark has always been to offer the highest quality sheet metal and trim available, part after part has been retooled by Goodmark. Vehicles like Dodge Challengers, Plymouth Barracudas and others that had been difficult to restore are now being restored due to the availability of quality parts tooled by Goodmark.
This year, Goodmark Industries brought out their '65-70 Cougar/Mustang their inner wheelhouse, which is widened two inches to create a mini tub. It's crafted just like the original and adds two inches of steel added to the center. Of course, it ships with the traditional EDP coating for protection and includes all the original indentations and all of the mounting points, too.
