Director of movies such as “Bad Boys” I and II, “Pearl Harbor,” and the “Transformers” series, Michael Bay is all about directing and producing pulse-pounding thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat. However, as we found out on TopSpeed.com, Bay isn’t just sticking with the Hollywood movie scene anymore. Playing into his obsession with high-octane action sequences, Bay recently directed something a little bit different; the official trailer for the latest installment of the Need For Speed video game series, The Run.
As no stranger to car chase scenes and red-hot action, Bay definitely leaves his mark on the trailer, giving viewers plenty of high-speed driving scenes, shoot-outs and explosions to get them excited about the game.
As the trailer follows the lead “character” of the video game, Jack, on his top-speed quest across the country, Bay even throws in some crash scenes and a nail-biting scenario with a car upside down on a train track.
Although the trailer is only 2 and a half minutes long, the action packed video is definitely very effective in persuading you to buy the video game, even if you aren‘t into the whole gaming scene. However, the good news is that since the game came out on November 15th, you don’t have to wait to get in on all the action any longer. Check out the action-packed trailer below.
