The sixth event of the 2018 OPTIMA Search for the Ultimate Street Car series is quickly approaching. The event will take place at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California on September 14-16. (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
The Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA) has constructed the event to emphasize safety, education, and fun. The event also highlights real street cars with participants driving at all skill levels.
The event is slated to include some of the baddest street cars in the country. In the video above, you can see some of the drivers talking about what makes their cars unique.
There is still time to sign up as a volunteer and catch all the inside action. You’ll be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at all the cars and drivers, and get a special edition “Volunteer” shirt. If you are keen on the idea of lending a hand, you will also be invited to the road rally after party where you can have your fill of food and drink.
According to the USCA website, “USCA has made a commitment to produce 8 national events in 2018 that will establish a consistently formatted series for enthusiasts of all skill levels. From simple membership, social and vendor interaction activities, to serious competition, the USCA will offer something relevant to all street car and performance enthusiasts, manufacturers, and service providers.”
