Every gearhead that has ever touched an automobile wants the best-of-the-best with all the bells and whistles; it’s part of our DNA. But those bells and those whistles come at a price, and thus for many, a level of functionality that virtually matches the high-end stuff without all the appearance finishes and such at a price point their wallet can handle suits them just fine. The team at Nitrous Pro Flow understand the perspective of the cost-conscious customer, and to reach that market, they’ve pulled their wraps off their brand new Hustler nitrous kit that’s so new, the logo was created just days prior to the PRI Show and a temporary packaging was created in order to get it to Orlando.

This new kit, as the name implies, is aimed at the grudge racing crowd, 275 Drag Radial, and other small tire racers – featuring a 50 to 500 horsepower adjustment, with all of the parts and pieces necessary to have a nitrous kit up and running in no time, including the plate and spray bar assembly, HiFlo bottle, stainless quick release bottle brackets, solenoids, steel braided AN lines, clamps and fittings, and the works.

According to Nitrous Pro Flow’s Dave Secunda, this new kit sports all of the same technology and all of the same performance as their traditional, higher end plate systems, with some exceptions to curb costs. What the Hustler does lack is wiring and assembly out of the box, the signature Pro Flow anodized plate and solenoid bracket, and stainless hard lines found in the more expensive units. The Hustler is expected to retail at $1,255, which is some $700 less than the traditional Nitrous Pro Flow lineup.

“This truly is the last plate system that you’ll ever need to buy,” says Nitrous Pro Flow’s Dave Secunda.

The plate used in the Hustler system incorporates four stainless steel spray bars with the same Fan Spray Tube Technology used in all of Nitrous Pro Flow’s nitrous plates. This configurations arranges the spray bars in line rather than crossed, keeping the power level between the spray bar sets staggered while maintaining optimum distribution characteristics.
