While perusing the show this week, we paid a visit to the Brodix booth to chat with Jeff Brotherton and learn more about some of their latest and greatest offerings for the new year.
Among a number of new cylinder heads that Brodix has put to market is the STS T1 STD 245, which is a 23-degree head that’s compatible with the Small Block Chevy and is a perfect piece for a large cubic inch small block. These “Track 1” series heads are fully CNC ported and sport a 245cc intake port, 68cc chambers, and flow more than 340 cfm. As well, they feature a 2.150-inch intake and 1.600-inch exhaust valve and use your standard rockers. According to Brotherton, these new heads are completely conventional other than the stud girdle, making them compatible with any number of valvetrain components on the market.
