A few weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to attend the All-Pontiac portion of Original Parts Group’s, Spring Summer Series. This series of shows was previously one big blowout – since the original show was met with such a great response, they decided to spread the love. Instead of one large show, OPGI is now putting on brand specific events for the cars they cater to.
Like every show in the series, the Pontiac show happened in beautiful Seal Beach, California, where OPGI is located. It was an awesome event that featured so much more than these beautiful rides, and while the spring/summer series is over for 2018, there’s always next year, so we suggest you start planning. This year’s Pontiac show saw awards, food, music, and plenty of those beautiful Arrowhead brand cars we all love.
The awards given out were for Best Daily Driver, Furthest Distance Driven, Best Custom, Best Original, and lastly, the VIP Award was given out by none other than, Cristy Lee, of All Girls Garage. The winners’ vehicles can be seen showcased below.
VIP Award-Bill Baker’s 1969 GTO chosen and presented by Cristy Lee, Best Original- Bob Longpre’s 1958 Bonneville Convertible, Furthest Driven- Lee Shull’s 1968 GTO from San Diego, CA,.
Best Daily Driver – Ron Nickle 1968 GTO, Best Custom- Darren Brandow 1965 Tempest Gasser.
If you missed this show, or any of the others in the series, fear not. For now, check out the video above for a quick recap of what went down during OPGI’s Spring Summer Series Pontiac Show. We’ve also included a gallery of the show for you to peruse, below. S0, start shining up those rides for next year, and check out opgi.com so you can join in on the fun too!
