During the final stop on the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour, AVS, an automotive exterior accessories brand offering functional and stylish products for trucks, SUV’s and cars, announced Jeff Paz the winner of its “AVS Supercharged All-American Car Sweepstakes.”

Paz received the keys to the 2017 Dodge Challenger at zMAX Dragway in Concord, North Carolina. The car was built by master mechanic Sam Mahdavi, host of the “Sam’s Garage” TV show. The 550-horsepower Challenger Hemi Scat Pack Shaker Edition has been equipped with a body kit that included AVS fender flares, rocker panel extensions, rear spoiler and front splitter. It has also been equipped with an AVS Aeroskin hood protector and blackout taillight covers.

Additional power comes from an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger and improved sound comes from a Magnaflow stainless exhaust system. The Challenger sits on MHT Rotiform 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in Toyo Tires, covering a set of high performance StopTech Brakes.  A Hellwig Suspension Products front sway bar was added to keep the Challenger planted through the corners while Ringbrothers custom hood pins keep its Shaker hood buttoned down at serious speeds.

Additional exterior upgrades include an AMP Research Fuel Door, custom undercar lighting and a billet grill. The interior received custom Katzkin upholstery to complement the car’s bold orange exterior.

Some of the new Challenger parts will also be offered to the public for those that want to build their own version of the car.

Contest runner ups Chris Vogel and Matt Moss each received a $1500 gift card for their choice of products from the Lund International family of brands.
