Mark Williams Enterprises, a leader in driveline components manufacturing, has developed a unique 2-piece driveshaft for the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats that solves problems common to OEM shafts.
Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, the shaft employs patented technology, and is speed-rated for reliable operation far above factory levels. The Hellcat driveshaft issue is well documented on social media, with examples of stock and aftermarket carbon fiber driveshaft failures displayed on YouTube and other platforms.
M-W’s driveshafts have proven superior on the firm’s torsional testing device, which can exert in excess of 15,000 ft. lbs. of torque, and on-track use. The shafts are precision phased to assure smooth operation, and dynamically balanced to G-30 specifications at operational RPMs.
