For 2015 the Challenger is still keeping its retro good looks, but Dodge will be giving the muscle car a few new looks.
The big news is the 6.4 liter Scat Pack and Shaker packages. The engine is a 392 cubic inch V8 capable of 485 horsepower and 475 lb/ft of torque, and it is mated to your choice of either a six-speed manual transmission on the new eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Even though the Challenger is a heavy car, Dodge says the 6.4 with the eight-speed auto will hit zero-to-60 in less than five seconds and traverse the quarter mile in the low 12 second range.
Styling changes include the fantastic shaker hood, a new split grill, split taillights out back and gloss black rear trim. It is all designed to make that retro vibe even stronger, and we think it works. What about you?
