Car giveaways are nothing new. Goodguys is also not new to the car giveaway game. However, this year’s giveaway car will be a tribute of the highest caliber, bringing the Goodguys “logo” to life. They will be giving away a ’32 Ford Tudor, built by Kindig-It Design. We first brought you news of this build back in August. The car will be given away as the 2013-2014 giveaway car at the PPG nationals in 2014.

Scheduled to make it’s debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next week, the guys at Kindig-It have been busy wrapping things up on this one-of-a-kind ride. The full details of the build are starting to emerge and we’re getting an up close and personal look at what the finished product should be. As of Thursday, October 25th, we know that the car was at upholstery getting wrapped up. We can tell you firsthand that this is no typical scabbed together giveaway car, it is a full-tilt high-quality custom that any rodder would want in his stable.

The build features a steel bodied that has been worked extensively. Of course, because this car is a close match to the Goodguys logo car, it’s all been massaged and sprayed in Goodguys yellow. Sitting on a Pinkee’s Rod Shop ’32 Chassis, motivation comes via a Chevrolet Performance 350 RamJet crate engine. The engine was outfitted with an Arizona Speed and Marine intake. Hushpower mufflers will provide the tone for the exhaust note that exit out polish tips surrounded by a custom rear pan. Out back you’ll find yet another coveted piece of hot rodding hardware, a Speedway Engineering Super Max Quick-Change rearend. The transmission, frame, engine and rear axle tubes were also sprayed Goodguys yellow to match the rest of the car. 

The front suspension is a drop axle, the car utilizes coil-overs and ladder bars for the rear setup and equipped with wheels from Billet Specialties. Final interior details were not yet revealed as of this writing but look for some trick and custom work from the guys at Kindig-It, but we do know that the car will feature a Vintage Air system. 

Kindig-It is thrashing to have the car loaded and headed to SEMA by Sunday, October 28th (just two days from now), and there’s still much left to do, as is the case for most builds leading up to SEMA. The car will be on display at the entrance to the North Hall of the convention center. It will also be one of the featured cars at the HRIA Industry Awards reception on Wednesday night, October 31.

GoodGuys has yet to finalize the contest rules and eligibility requirements for this particular giveaway.
