Starting off their 2013 auction season with a bang, Barrett-Jackson will be auctioning off this fantastic 1931 Chevy rat rod at the mid-January Scottsdale Auction.

Built with a classic 1931 Chevy body, this rat features many intriguing amenities, including a Chevy 400ci small-block engine, a two-speed automatic transmission, steel-tube chassis, classic black interior and custom wood truck bed. Although relatively simple, the truck brings unique styling to the forefront with a natural patina exterior accented with custom pinstripes. The truck also features an aluminum gas tank, dual exhaust and vintage styled Firestone white walls and rear Dragsters.
