Right-hand drive cars are not unheard of here in the states, although they are harder to come by than your average left-hand drive vehicle. However, never before have we heard of a right-seat drive vehicle until now. Check out exactly what we mean in this week’s episode of Big Muscle above.

Just like with a right-hand drive vehicle, the right-seat drive 1922 Ford roadster that Mike Musto drives for this week’s Big Muscle is exactly what it sounds like. The car must be driven from the right-hand seat, not because the steering wheel is over there, but because the car is so small that an average to taller guy like Musto, can’t exactly fit in the driver’s seat. That, however, takes little away from the car in the long run.

Owned by Anji Ramsey, this gorgeous 1922 Ford was passed around between her grandfather and great uncles until the early 1970s. The car was then sold, but Ramsey tracked the car down and returned it to the family decades later.

Lucky for Ramsey, she is of the proper size to drive the car from behind the steering wheel.

What Ramsey got with this family heirloom is a 255ci Flathead engine topped with two single-barrel Stromberg carburetors, a set of sidepipes, an old-school suspension system and a lot of memories. She’s even been able to find out the history of the car from when it was not in her family.

Ramsey’s 1922 Ford is a pretty sweet ride and definitely something you don’t see every day. Now if only Musto would have fit properly, well, that’s a different story!
