Can you think of anything more relaxing than hopping on a cruise liner for a couple of days, hitting four destinations, all while sharing the experience with men and women who are die hard car lovers? Add on top of that the comfort of top of the line hotel style accommodations while breezing through the Caribbean – it’s practically bordering hedonism, the whole thing sounds surreal.
The folks at Cruise Planners don’t think so. As a matter of fact they have dedicated the past three years of their resources to providing a getaway geared specifically towards the classic car enthusiast dubbed the Classic Car Cruise. Check out the link to their homepage for full details on their third annual cruise set for February 8th to the 15th. One of the very first things that the team at Classic Car Cruise does every year is choose a charity to donate a portion of their proceeds to.
This year, Classic Car Cruise will be giving back to America’s VetDogs, an organization whose aim is, “to help those who have served our country honorably to live with dignity and independence. Since 1946, the founding group, Guide Dog Foundation, has provided guide dogs and training at no cost to blind or visually impaired people. In 2003, the foundation recognized the need for an overall assistance dog program for veterans that would include guide dogs, service dogs, and state of the art mobility devices.”
