Classic Car Cruise, An Annual Voyage For Car Enthusiasts

Add on top of that the comfort of top of the line hotel style accommodations while breezing through the Caribbean – it’s practically bordering hedonism, the whole thing sounds surreal.

The folks at Cruise Planners don’t think so. As a matter of fact they have dedicated the past three years of their resources to providing a getaway geared specifically towards the classic car enthusiast dubbed the Classic Car Cruise. They are also preparing well in advance for 2015’s cruise which they are now taking reservations for. Below are a couple of the highlights you can expect during the Classic Car Cruise.

Day 1: The classic car cruise will be departing from Miami, FL, the “gateway to Latin America.” Travelers will get to enjoy a tour of the city’s highlights as well as its unrivaled nightlife.

Day 2: At sea. “Relax and enjoy your vacation on board your ship. You can do as much or as little as you want.”

Day 3: Touch down in San Juan, the gorgeous capital of Puerto Rico. The city of San Juan boasts a thriving business district, “glitzy resorts and casinos,” and some of the most serene white-sand beaches bordered by tropical rain forests.

Day 4: Enjoy a drink and some awesome food fare at Magens Bay, Sapphire Beach, and Coki Point located in St. Thomas. If you’re looking for exotic bargains this is the place to satiate that shopping bug, from food, accessories, clothing, or decor, they’ve got it.

Day 5: Touch down in Philipsburg. This is an excerpt taken from the Classic Car Cruise homepage, “An exquisite blend of dutch and French Cultures, St. Maarten boasts stunning beaches, crystal clear waters, and incredibly duty-free shopping. Whether you lunch at a charming French cafe or explore the lively Dutch capital of Philipsburg, you will find the dichotomy of St. Maarten perfectly charming.”

Day 6 & 7: Travelers will get to enjoy the last leg of the trip partying and taking in the great expanse of the Atlantic Ocean as it makes its way towards the mainland.

Day 8: Touch back onto the mainland and end where the surreal adventure started, Miami, FL.

One of the very first things that the team at Classic Car Cruise does every year is choose a charity to donate a portion of their proceeds to.

This year, Classic Car Cruise will be giving back to America’s VetDogs, an organization whose aim is, “to help those who have served our country honorably to live with dignity and independence. Since 1946, the founding group, Guide Dog Foundation, has provided guide dogs and training at no cost to blind or visually impaired people. In 2003, the foundation recognized the need for an overall assistance dog program for veterans that would include guide dogs, service dogs, and state of the art mobility devices.”

What’s In Store For 2015

Not to take light away from what is sure to be an amazing and priceless experience during this year’s cruise, but we had to include a couple of the highlights that Classic Car Cruise already has lined up for 2015. The following individuals will be special voyage guests:

  • Von Hot Rod “Master of the Fine Line” world renowned pinstriper
  • Tim Strange – TV Personality and custom hot rod builder
  • Don Garlits – Cruise fare includes a tour of the Don Garlits museum in Ocala, FL before the day of departure. Attendees will get a chance to meet and participate in a guided tour by Big Daddy himself.
