Walk out to the garage and pull that cover off. Slide into the seat and fire up that hot rod–IT’S SHOW TIME. With spring rapidly approaching rodders all over are prepping, many of which will be taking their pre-1972 American steel to a Goodguys show nearby. Kicking off the season is the Goodguys Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, AZ on March 7-9, 2014.
The Goodguys Spring Nationals brings in show vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Only requirements are being American Made and pre-1972.
The 5th annual event will be held at the Westworld of Scottsdale special event center, just as it has since 2010 when it began. Drawing in crowds and vendors from all over, this event goes in typical Goodguys fashion–nothing short of exceptional. Over 2,500 vehicles will be on display including classics, customs, muscle cars, street rods, and trucks. All will be pining for awards like the Goodguys/Hemmings Muscle Machines Muscle Car of the Year Finalist, Goodguys/Vintage Air Custom Rod of the Year Finalist and the Goodguys Builder’s Choice Top 10.
Special events will be held throughout the weekend. Kids will get to take part in the Revel Make n’ Take model building event, a full blown automotive parts swap meet put on by Awooga.com, and Auto Trader Classics Cars 4 Sale Corral were sellers will display their vehicles up for sale.

The Autocross pits driver and vehicle against a series of twists, turns and straights to allow for one victor to come out on top.
The Goodguys Autocross event will also be a main attraction for this show. Each driver will put his skills on the pavement to prove or discredit their bench racing promises. The winner from each of the street rod, truck, and street machine classes will be presented with awards and gift certificates from sponsors on Sunday during the awards show.
With just over 30 years experience, the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association is a dominant force and a true success story. Years of hard work has taken a once meager 400 car one-day event and turned it into a series of 20 national events with more than 70,0000 Club members. If you haven’t already, get used to going to Goodguys events. They are likely to be the best of the best for years to come.
