Event Alert: Billetproof's 11th Annual Motor City Mania

Billetproof has the goods for you come mid-May, as they bring back, for the eleventh time, their awesome Motor City Mania show. The sun will be shining, and the cars will be revving as the masses make their way to Milan for the car show, some drag racing, a swap meet, and more.

Tickets are on sale now, and cost is $15 for one adult. This gets you access to see some real American steel and the time to hang out with fellow gear heads where the cars and their owners are as real as it gets. That’s thanks to some stringent rules and regulations that bar trailered rides and the bought not built mentality from mixing with Billetproof’s crowd notorious for its purist beliefs in tradition and earning your keep through being hands on with a build.

The official rules declare the following to be verboten from the show: “No modern West Coast Choppers, OCC style fluff bikes. No trailer queens. No billet-clad fluff-mobiles (if you think this means you then it probably does, so walk in and check out some real rides).” Billetproof’s tradition for authenticity and enthusiasm gives them a bit of an offensive streak, but hey, it’s all just different strokes for different folks and Rod Authority is comprised of individuals with individual tastes all their own!

If you’re feeling up to the challenge, the organizers are offering a cool special for the young punk in all of us–buy an entry into the car show, and you’ll be able to participate in the drag racing competition at nearby Milan Dragway.
