Chino, California will play host to the upcoming Rods & Riders Rockabilly Car Show on July 27th, and you won’t want to miss it. The fun begins at 9:00 a.m and won’t let up until the sun goes down.
Presented by Gatos SoCal, Los Dead Sleds, Stay Gold Barbershop and sponsored by Kitten’s Kouture & Suavecito, the show is set to take place at the spiffy and spacious Chino Fairgrounds. Last year’s event occurred at the Planes of Fame Museum, also in Chino, and proved that when it comes to entertainment and enthusiasm, Rods & Riders knows how to deliver.
They’re bringing the same mashup of fun and freewheeling to this year’s event too. Live rockabilly tunes and blues will be served up from a variety of musical acts, including Luis and the Wildfires, Los Bandits, Craic Haus, and DJ Mad Matt.
Meanwhile, special guest Mimi La Minkz will be making rounds at the show as the resident hottie and pinup model. When she’s not taking pictures with eager young lads and striking a pose next to a rod, Miss La Minkz will be seen as part of the pinup contest hosted by Spellbound Images.
Admission to the show is affordable and available for purchase online, at the cost of $15. Registering your bike or car (must be pre-1972) is $25 at the gate, although a discount of five dollars applies if you act between now and July 27th.
Registration also snags one free regular admission, so it’s perfect for taking along a special someone to the show. Find out more about the Rods & Riders Show by visiting the event’s listing on Facebook.
