“Taking place an hour and a half north of Melbourne, Chopped is a unique cultural experience similar to that of being thrown back to a 1950s/60s Hop Up Carnavale. Thousands of fans from around the country partake in a mix of traditional style hot rods & custom cars alongside bobber & chopper motorcycles with entrants running head-to-head throughout the show in two-lane old-style dirt drags entertaining the crowds.”
Chopped is one international event that we’d love to attend one year. If you’re near the area, or have the chance to plan an awesome trip to Australia in less than two months then consider this three-day festival.
If three days of traditional hot rods, customs, and roots rock ’n roll weren’t already enough, you’ll be pleased to know that the folks who put on this event highlight the weekend with on-site camping. That’s potentially…literally…72 hours straight of high octane fun–if you have the resources to attend, how could you not?
Wondering how much all the passes are? Adult three-day festival passes including camping are $110.00. Three-day + camping passes for children 12-15 years old are $90.00. Three-day festival passes without camping are $80.00 for adults and $60.00 for children 12-15. Day passes can also be purchased for any of the three days: $35.00 for adults 16 and up, $25.00 for children 12-15, and $25.00 for student, concession, and pensioner. A $90.00 family day pass is also available which allows entry for two adults and up to 3 children 12-15; children under 12 years get in for free.
