This clean example of a 1955 Chevrolet pickup was built by Brandon Arnold and his crew for a customer who’s going to have a lot of fun turning a lot of heads.

For starters, the truck doesn’t look like every other ’55 pickups – the drip rails have been shaved, which gives this truck an insanely clean look. Shaving the drip rails might not be for everyone, but we really like it. The next thing you might notice about this ’55 pickup is the custom built roll pan with the flush-mounted taillights. It really sets off the rear of the truck!

This truck was originally a small back window truck, but after the owner got into a minor accident, he decided he wanted a big back window. Arnold found a big-window cab that needed pretty much every piece of metal replaced. After he and his crew got the metal work done, they proceeded to smooth the firewall, the cowl, and tucked the front bumper. If you haven’t noticed, the exhaust tips are molded into the bed steps. Pretty cool if you ask us!

The truck rides on 18-inch Intro Magnum wheels, floats over the road with air ride suspension, and is powered by a fuel-injected 350 SBC mated to a turbo 350 transmission. Arnold also told us that the truck received the custom truck award at the 2014 Starbird-Devlin show in Wichita, Kansas.
