Hot rod culture is still growing. So much so that new shows have popped up recently. Goodguys Rod and Custom Association green lit a brand spanking new one, the 1st Annual North Carolina Nationals! Slated for April 17-19, 2015, more than 1,500 cars, trucks, hot rods, customs, and more will be stacked up at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, North Carolina.
All vehicles 1972 and older are welcome to participate, as well as any year American made, or powered vehicle. The Goodguys Autocross will be a sight to see and the Saturday Night Demolition Derby is a must see! The Historic Speedway Group is hosting a special indoor race car display will feature historic NASCAR vehicles, dragsters, and more.
Live music will play throughout the weekend as buyers and sellers find their way to the swapmeet and AutoTrader Classics Cars 4 Sale Corral. Kids will get the chance to have some fun at the Revell Model Car Make n’ Take and the PPG Kids Coloring Contest.
This first ever show will feature some BIG awards. Some of the top awards are the Goodguys Builder’s Choice Top 10, PPG Dream Car, 2015 Custom Rod of the Year Finalist, Goolsby Builder’s Choice, and more.
No Goodguys show is fit without the special parking areas for attendees. ’40 Fords Forever, Trick Truck Corral, Deuce Doin’s presented by Mike Goldman Customs are just a few.
