Some hotrods are so unbelievable, your eyes are drawn to it whether you like it or not. Hit play on the video above and you wont blink for a solid three minutes. Based on a 1934 Ford, this truck is certainly a piece of art. It was recently up for sale on eBay and I’m betting you are kicking yourself for not knowing about it.
Overall the truck hits the mark for style points in every facet. Chopped top, Jaguar chrome grille, visor with punched holes, vintage wood bed; it oozes cool from every point. The power plant is a Ford Flathead V8 with a Tri-power instake and three Holley carburetors. Ceramic coated headers were tumble polished and then wrapped in heat wrap. The power goes through a C4 automatic transmission with a tall Lokar shifter using a vintage microphone as a shift knob.
Handling the bumps and ride height is a hand dropped 40s Ford front axle and a full air bag system out back for elevation and stance changes. The interior of the truck was completely lined for heat and sound deadening. The original 1934 Ford dash was painted in a clean metallic red. New seats were swapped in using oxblood red leather and black piping. There is even a set of basic cupholders to keep your drink at a manageable distance.
This truck is unlike any other. The bare metal exterior finish gives it a certain patina that is unmatched. While you may not be able to make this your own ride, check out the eBay listing (while it is still up) and head over to the builder’s website to see more.
