An event that was five-years in the making… the Goodguys 4th Nostalgia Nationals returns to Beach Bend Raceway Park on September 18, 2015. The unique combination of part car show, part nostalgia drag racing, part autocross combined with all the other features of a typical Goodguys event makes this one a must attend for any car lover.
This eagerly anticipated event has drawn such interest that the Kentucky Travel Industry Association has selected the event as one of the top festivals and events for Fall of 2015.
Slammed into the three day event will be the usual autocross event that the Goodguys weekends have become known for, the collection of vintage and musclecars competing for trophies and prizes, the swap meet with hard to find original vintage parts and cars, and the real highlight of the Nostalgia Nationals; the quarter mile drag racing competition.
New to the 4th Nostalgia Nationals this year will be the Van-Tastic Corral, open to all years and makes tricked out custom vans. Hosted by Van Crazy Customs, this area will be held on Saturday at Beech Bend Raceway Park 7 am to noon. Van owners who participate in the area will receive a custom dash plaque and get to be a part of the cool display.
“Goodguys is excited to be back in Bowling Green. The car and racing culture here is strong and we appreciate the support of the local community in working with us on this event,” says Marc Meadors, President of the Northern, California based Goodguys Rod & Custom Association.
