Her favorite past time is watching old movies whether it’s at a theater or snuggled up at home. How did you get into pinup modeling? I went to a couple of car shows and people would ask to take my picture. I really didn’t give it much thought until I went to another car show and a photographer asked to take my picture. He then sent me the photos a few days after and I was amazed by how he captured me.
What do you love most about modeling? To me, it is more than just taking a photo. It is being able to showcase my abilities. I’ve always loved to do my hair and makeup in a vintage fashion but never thought of myself as being a pinup model. I’ve always thought those girls were so glamorous.
It’s so fun and I am always happy to meet other girls that have the same love of vintage styles. Plus, I didn’t know there were so many people in the pinup community. I love everything about the vintage era. For now, I get to be a part of the fun. I also like to include something of my mom’s which I almost always do since she has always been my inspiration!
Favorite photoshoot to date? My favorite shoot to date was at the Good Guys Car Show in Pleasanton in 2017 (West Coast Nationals). It was the very first time I got to work with Mitzi.
Favorite Hollywood Starlet: Audrey Hepburn. She was more than just a pretty face. She became a humanitarian and had such class.
Most recent publications: Retro Lovely, Delicious Dolls, Bombshell Magazine, Rocket Magazine
What was the last pinup contest you participated in? I participated in this year’s Billetproof Pinup Contest at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds in Antioch a few weeks ago. The theme of the contest was garage girl and I took 3rd place in the contest.
What do you enjoy most about entering pinup contest? I think the best part is meeting new faces and also getting to hang out with other pinup girls. Plus, the goodie bags!
What are three things you cannot live without? My family, red lipstick and music.
Do you prefer styling yourself or having someone style you? I prefer to do my own styling because I was taught my basics by my mom who took the time to show me the many different ways to do my hair and apply fake lashes. So, when my hair comes out right, I feel accomplished and I have fun doing it.
What are your strongest attributes? Positive attitude, respect for others, and a strong sense of family.
Describe your personal style? I like to be dressed girly. I like everything about the way it makes me feel. My favorite thing is to wear a dress. I think it just makes me feel more feminine. I have a clear complexion so I have always been a little fussy about my skin. I don’t like a lot of makeup so I usually go light on the makeup except for my lips.
Describe your perfect date? Spending the day in San Francisco.
Tell us about your tattoos? Most of my tattoos are Aztec inspired except for my back tattoo which are angel wings. I have my mother on my right arm that I had done a few weeks before she passed. It was her favorite picture of herself so she really loved it. It is my favorite picture of her as well as I think she looks like such a starlet.
Do you have plans to get any more tattoos? Possibly… one more
Favorite music or band? My favorite music is oldies. It ranges from 1940s to 1970s for the most part. My parents were a big influence on my music tastes. When I was young my mom used to sing Edyie Gorme while she was cleaning or cooking and I thought her voice sounded just like hers! My dad played anything from CCR to Los Tigres del Norte and even some Led Zeppelin. Therefore, I like it all. My most often listened to though would be Ralphi Pagan, Ottis Redding, and Sam Cooke.
Favorite place to hang out or chill? Home watching a classic movie.
Favorite drink? Apple Crown Royal (chilled)
Favorite non-alcoholic beverage? Shirley Temple
