If you’re one of the lucky ones with a sold-out ticket, get ready, because Willow Springs Reimagined event is happening tomorrow, October 11. The historic track is kicking off its new chapter with an absolutely stacked lineup of cars and drivers, promising a full day of on-track action and incredible displays.
The main Big Willow circuit is going to be busy. You’ll see everything from Singer Porsches to vintage B-Sedan race cars making laps. Hoonigan’s own Micah Diaz is bringing his Pro-Spec E46 out to shred, and Czinger will be running its 21C hypercar—the same one that already holds the production car lap record at this very track.
The tribute to Ken Block alone is worth the price of admission. The 43 Institute is bringing out some of its most famous cars, including the Hoonicorn V2 and the original Gymkhana ONE Subaru. On top of that, DirtFish is showing off some insane rally history with a Lancia 037 and a Delta S4, and there will even be life size Hot Wheels cars like the Bone Shaker. The entire Willow Springs Reimagined event is packed with legendary metal.
Don’t think that it’s not just about the cars, either. Jarod DeAnda, the voice of Formula Drift, will be on the mic all day, keeping the energy high. Matt Farah is also hosting his popular Parking Lot Concours, where he’ll be wandering through the general admission lot to find one fan-owned car to give a special award. The event is also doing some good, with a portion of ticket sales going to local charities.
For everyone heading out to the desert tomorrow, the Willow Springs Reimagined event looks like the perfect way to celebrate a new chapter for one of America’s great road courses. It’s going to be a wild day full of action-packed events and surprises.
