SEMA season is almost here, and the buzz is building around a Mopar that’s set to steal the show in Hot Rod Alley. Heidts and legendary builder Steve Strope of Pure Vision Designs are teaming up to unveil the 1970 Road Runner called Haraka, a custom build designed to showcase Heidts’ new suspension systems for Chrysler B-bodies.The car is the perfect platform to highlight Heidts’ new PRO-G Independent Front and Rear Suspension. This is a dedicated Mopar solution, not a universal kit. In a recent video, Strope said of the new IFS, “Now, they just came out with this stuff.” He also explained that the IRS is model-specific, noting that the Plymouth version is narrower than the Dodge unit to account for differences in body width and wheelbase.
According to Scott Diedrich, marketing manager at Heidts, “We’re so excited to be working with Steve and his team on this reveal for SEMA 2025. Our new PRO-G IFS and IRS systems for Chrysler B-bodies offer a track-capable package with a smooth enough ride for street-focused builds like Haraka.”
True to Pure Vision’s style, the build is packed with incredible details reflecting the owner’s passion for high-end fashion and luxury watches. Under the hood is a classic 440 big-block, updated with MoTeC EFI and backed by a TKX five-speed manual transmission.
The interior is where the theme really shines. It features 18-way adjustable Porsche Panamera seats wrapped in custom leather that has been laser-printed with a design inspired by a Robert Graham dress shirt. The centerpiece is a unique, timepiece-inspired instrument cluster that elevates the whole build. The 1970 Road Runner Haraka is a masterclass in blending classic muscle with modern luxury.
The official unveiling will happen at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4, in the Heidts booth (23381). This car represents a perfect fusion of modern suspension engineering and timeless custom car artistry. For Mopar fans and SEMA attendees, the debut of the 1970 Road Runner Haraka is a must-see event, promising a new benchmark for B-body performance and style.
